Just a short one...

..to say Merry Christmas and wish all of our wonderful family and friends a very very happy 2023!

This year we are thankful for the fact that we had a wonderful tourist season and that we really got our winery going - we bought and installed our barrels, tanks and other wine-related equipment, and welcomed our first full-time employee, who will help with looking after the cantina (winery) and the Villa. So far, so good.

For us, 2023 promises to be an exciting one - some of the things we are looking forward to:

1- tasting our first Rosso di Montepulciano in April/May;

2- having two (count them, two!) full-blown employees to help us with Poggio Golo;

3- learning more about the wine business;

4- travelling around Italy more;

5- keeping stress levels low;

6- speaking better Italian; and

7- keeping this blog going!
